NM102 Fall Fun

Rosa Linda

Get ready for some Fall Fun, New Mexico-style! From Balloons, to pumpkins to pinto beans, this episode’s got it all!

Hello Friends!

Welcome to New Mexicast TV; season 1, episode 2. The theme for this episode is “Fall Fun” and that’s exactly what you are about to have as we visit 4 different, popular fall locations in New Mexico. We begin with a quick visit to a small, working farm in Moriarty, New Mexico called “Schwebach Farms” to pick up some fresh, fall produce, and then we head to Balloon Fiesta Park for one of New Mexico’s most famous, and colorful, fall traditions… The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta:

To learn more about the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, which takes place the first week in October every year, visit the official website at: www.balloonfiesta.com

Or, perhaps an event like Balloon Fiesta is a bit too big for your tastes? There are several smaller fall festivals around New Mexico that may be just the thing for you. For example, just a half hour east of Albuquerque, in Moriarty, New Mexico, you can find the annual Pinto Bean Fiesta; a fun, small-town harvest festival:

And, while you’re in Moriarty, be sure to visit McCall’s Pumpkin Patch. It is my family’s favorite place for pumpkin picking, hayrides and other fall harvest fun!
