Rosa Linda

Hello and welcome to the New Mexicast!

I am so excited to share this promotional video for my soon-to-launch video podcast called “New Mexicast.” Please watch it, add a comment, and send the link to everyone you know.

For those who don’t know me, please visit my personal vlog at www.RosaLindaRoman.com. As I used to do on that website, once I launch New Mexicast I will be posting a new story on this website each week. The stories will be about interesting people and places in New Mexico and beyond.

The more viewers the better, so please spread the word by forwarding this link to people you know. You can even embed the promo video on your own website by clicking on the “share” button below the player, copying the (very lengthy) code and pasting it onto your own website (like in a post). And, for those of you that have your own podcasts, please feel free to play this promo as much as you like (please email me if you want the audio-only version).

Oh, and as you watch the video, please notice the AWESOME theme song called “New Mexico” by Dorian Spencer. You will only hear a little preview in the promo, but it should still give you a good idea of what it sounds like. Dorian has graciously allowed me to use the song as New Mexicast’s theme song. I couldn’t have come up with a more perfect, positive, upbeat song if I had commissioned it myself. Please support him and his generosity by visiting his website at: www.DorianSpencer.com.

I hope you enjoy this video. Please check back in the coming weeks for the official launch of the New Mexicast.

Sincerely,
Rosa Linda

P.S. Please write a comment to let me know what you think!

Love this? Please share it!

  1. I only just now got to watch your video, and it’s awesome! 🙂 You mention your work in front of the camera as a reporter, but you clearly also have great production/editing skills as well! 🙂

Great introduction video, I can’t wait to see future episodes.

  2. Yay, a comment! You are the very first!

Thanks so much for the kind words. To be honest, my favorite part of the production process is probably the editing (or making cool things for editing in Motion… but I’m just learning that). It really means a lot to get such a compliment.

Also, thank you so much for your technical help with setting up my feeds. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without your guidance.

As for when the next episode is coming, the big launch is set for Mother’s Day, May 11th! Which means I need to stop typing and start working.

    Thanks again!

    Sincerely,
    Rosa Linda

  3. Well, the Mother’s Day launch obviously didn’t happen. Unfortunately I got super sick on Mother’s Day, so the big launch of New Mexicast has been pushed back a few days.

Please keep watching this site (or better yet, subscribe to the video podcast). The first episode will be posted here soon.

Thanks for your understanding and patience. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

    Sincerely,
    Rosa Linda

  4. Wow I must say it is a wonderful surprise to still see you following your dream!! I am very proud to see the wonderful life that you have chosen in your independant production in letting good people follow you and your life of helping others. Rosa Linda you are a STAR and continue in giving others the smile that you have always given your friends around you.

  5. Thank you for the kind words, Heath!

And for those of you who are wondering, I plan to officially launch New Mexicast by the end of the Memorial Day weekend… so stay tuned!

Just a few more tweaks on the first episode and it will be ready for launch!

    Thanks again for watching.

    Sincerely,
    Rosa Linda

  6. I think what you are doing is great. I know you from when you lived in Florida I was friends with your sister. We support you all the way from Florida. You are very good at what you do and should continue fighting for what it is possible. Hopefully it will bring hope to some moms at home that don’t think they can achieve much.Great cause!

    Thank you.

    Very good quality videos!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I’m not surprised at all. Meaning – if there is anyone that could make two very demanding jobs work together it’s you. Congrats on doing such a great job with your family and your career. Can’t wait to see you in July!

  8. Thanks so much Eloise! It is often a challenge to balance both worlds (kids & reporting), but I like to believe that we are all richer for the experience (emotionally, not financially, of course! LOL!).

And, yes, it is hard not to love this place!

  9. I am very excited about this new site. I love the song too. I have to figure out how to incorporate this into my website. Did I say I’m excited? Thank God for Twitter.

  10. @Sarah – I agree about Twitter! Thanks so much! Not just for your comment and for watching, but also for your generous donation to help support New Mexicast! I can’t thank you enough!
